Meet Jo
Hi, I'm Jo Langston, founder of Lonesome Cactus Studio. I'm a creator rooted in the Mojave Desert, and I believe every story starts with one moment worth capturing. I work with children's book authors and oracle card creators who can see their character clearly but struggle to get that vision into a form that someone else can actually create from. I built a process to solve exactly that.
Why I create
By day, I work in IT engineering, but my heart has always belonged to art. When I discovered AI-assisted creation, it opened a door I didn't realize I was waiting for, one that allowed me to capture stories with intention and clarity. Now I use heart-first prompting and a documented creative process to help authors and creators bring their characters to life. Whether you have a children's book, an oracle deck, or a story that has been living in a drawer, I'm here to make that moment visible.
